At its March board of directors’ meeting, The Indianapolis Foundation, an affiliate of Central Indiana Community Foundation, announced the allocation of $2,007,580 to not-for-profit organizations in Marion County. The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has introduced a $250 million preliminary plan to repair and rebuild some of our deteriorating 50-year-old highway infrastructure, widening bridges and byways, and adding concrete walls. Student journalists from Central Indiana attend and cover Women’s Fund event with Michelle Obama
Women’s Fund of Central Indiana invited nearly 300 IPS students, along with 500 women and girls from select Women’s Fund grantee organizations, to receive free tickets for “A Moderated Conversation with Former First Lady Michelle Obama” on Feb. 13 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Charitable Giving Strategies: Bunching May Allow Donors to Maintain Charitable Giving Levels Despite the New Tax Climate
With the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act last December, there is speculation about the impact the law will have on charitable giving.
