For more than a decade, the LAFD Foundation has bridged critical gaps to secure essential equipment and support vital safety programs that would otherwise go unfunded. Every donated dollar has a direct and meaningful impact on those who risk their lives to keep Los Angeles safe.
  • American Red Cross, California Wildfires 2025 Support »
Red Cross Los Angeles area responders have opened three evacuation shelters. With 30,000 households ordered to evacuate, over 400,000 homes experiencing power outages, and the fires currently 0% contained, they’re preparing for significant sheltering needs. Alongside partners, disaster teams are working to provide safe shelter, food, emotional support and other relief services. In addition, the organization is mobilizing hundreds more disaster workers to support the wildfire victims and moving truckloads of supplies like cots, blankets and water to be ready to support thousands of people in emergency shelters if needed. At this time, the priority is the safety of responders and households displaced by evacuations and fire danger. Once containment improves and the immediate risk dissipates, Red Cross teams will begin detailed damage assessments to determine the full scope of need.  NOTE:  Please list “California Wildfires 2025 Support” when making your donation.
