Board of directors for The Indianapolis Foundation, an affiliate of Central Indiana Community Foundation, approved and awarded $945,000 for 23 programs and projects in September. This is the foundation’s third grant round for 2017.

Funding for The Indianapolis Foundation’s grants is made possible by the unrestricted Endowment for Indianapolis, created and contributed to by philanthropically minded donors for more than a century. Supplemental funding is made possible by five field of interest funds: the Christmas Fund, F.R. Hensel Fund for Fine Arts, Music and Education, James Proctor Fund for Aged Men and Women, Pauline K.
